  12.  @GAndreC  they actually did that, most of the crimes pinned on japan were actually the us and uk forces killing suspected collaborators, near the end of the war japan literally still had over 17 million troopes from collaborators, this also included old loyalist chinese and russians from the white army, so no it wasn't forced, japan actually supported independant movements across the world before ww2 like in ww1, before the army completely took over.
