@IchbinX fun fact, I'm the higher earner (provider) and the care provider and the insurance provider (US health) and the planner and the nurse. (In the 90s it was called SuperMom). What is that trad man going to give me that i don't already have? My (one) cat is at least excited to see me when i get home (my dog died 2 years ago). Stereotype busted! Although no one wants me bc I'm over 27. But the good part is you stop caring what other ppl think when you have provided for leeches, manbabies, and actual children.

@gwanox already had two long-term relationships and 6 children so I've got a lot of human love. I'm tired and done caring for other ppl. It's been about 25 years since someone prioritized me, even myself, so I'm doing that for myself, too.

@mikerodriguez6761 which part? Us GenX were left to ourselves. I had no parents since 16. Thankfully not poor just busy. Never felt unloved. Not depressed now, but not expecting shit from work, or my family, bc ppl are shit. I care for everyone, and they take it for granted. I'm going to south america and they will suddenly live off baked beans. You guys need to appreciate the A-type ppl in your lives jeeping you comfortable

Second, you did respond so go take care of your parents in some way,, even to just drop by and be kind. They will appreciate the attn Edit: my parents died so that's why I'm touchy.
