@ktvindicare i think it's more about the Disney "factory approach" to film or series making. We have lots of insiders saying they already have set pieces and story beats laid out when the director and writers come to the project. They are not focused on story anymore at Disney. You know, that place that was all about the magic of storytelling through animation.

@sg-yq8pm sounds like the broken windows fallacy. Yes, it pays ppl to work, but ia it meaningful and does it contribute to society? No one wants this movie, so it's misplaced wages. The not so subtle point drinker mskes is these substantial funds could have gone to ppl producing a common good rather than a waste of ppl's time both making and watching the film.

@darkcranny3851 respectfully disagree. New services, constructs, and art are all valuable if they are worthwhile. Some are even revolutionary. This movie we could have skipped, which is why the money was wasted. Gladiator employed tons of people and was a better use of money bc it was a culturally beneficial film, imo. (Everone will diagree on which art is beneficial; I'm just using a popular example)
