I've never seen ANYONE get unemployment except for layoffs. They will cite poor performane even if you're emp of the month for a year.

@ForgottenKnight1 it's fine for accounting, which hasn't changed in 400 years or trades which don't change much, but if you're a knowledge worker, you stagnate when you stay at one place too long, and usually develop bad habits like complacency.

After i got a month's savings, I've been attacking debt hard so my car is paid, student loan paid, only have $10k left on my house, paid off anxillary debt, and paying down my cc bc i had to make a big purchase plus 4 tires. I'll never be FIRE but I'm trying to fasttrack to that boomer lifestyle while i still have my health.
