@devontoombs4141 You look at the current regime firing people for "disloyalty" and you think someone who wants to challenge Big Insurance will have any chance? You're being idealist to the point of naivete. What do suggest that might work in 2025?
14
@devontoombs4141 you fail the trolley problem when you say one death is "probably worse" than the systematic withholding of lifesaving medicine. the opposite of love is not hate, it's apathy. it's AI auto-rejecting normal and necessary requests. You're saying the death of one life is extreme but the death of THOUSANDS, if not 10x more, is "just business" or however you put it. You gotta think/pray on this one, dude.
14
The only good news is that cults rarely survive the death of the charismatic leader. Scientology is interesting bc it survived, but they are so bureaucratic that it almost runs itself now. I don't think MAGA will be able to find a replacement for Trump, who was a clever disrupter in 2016, had enough TV and movie appearances to be household name, relentless grifter so was always in the news pushing his new product or venue, and NYC mobster so he has dirt on everyone, narcissistic enough to lash out at the smallest insults, abs psychopathic enough to hurt ppl. He's quite a piece of work and the whole package that is, hopefully, irreplaceable. And almost out of time from the way his mind and health are declining. 8647

It's called cost advatage. India has a cheaper workforce. 85% of ppl don't need geniuses, they need average and a lot of Indians are fine, but 30% cheaper and 1000% desperate to keep the job. The choice is easy if you're a CEO
10
@B_Bodziak many of them poor black men. Go figure
10
Look into the origin of the police and you'll see it's always been this way

Maybe in current year. But he used to have tons of fanboys 5 years ago

@devontoombs4141 you forget that unions gave their lives for all the time off we get. You also seem to be glossing over all the violence that was required during the civil rights movement. Prohibition also took violence to revoke. Rodney King riots in LA were peaceful, until police started roughing them up. (sound famililar?) In each one of these examples, the government actively harmed and killed those trying to make progress. At some point, it becomes self-defense. I'm not advocating for the French Revolution. I'm only taking issue that killing the person who kills thousands without a thought is not "way worse". It's like the question of, if you could go back in time and kill Hitler, would that be justifiable? Many would say yes, and gladly serve time for it, to save millions of lives
6
I remember his show 30? years ago (when he still had hair) when some heckler set him off and he did not pull any punches. You gotta find that blurry video because I was almost crying.
6
He will as soon as Musk loses his usefulness. Looking at Tesla stock, it might happen at the end of Jan

They are bringing back measels and polio

@nathanaels4195 what happened to local government? the whole point is that school districts are supposed to figure out what's best for their populations--that's why we vote for school boards in our counties. If you say he can't mandate masks then that means he cannot threaten pay to force no masks, either; it would be overreach from Tallahassee both ways. edit: also schools are funded by TAXES not the state govt. so he can just shovel it.
4
I don't begrudge a family with a 2nd home, esp in retirement. But the Blackrocks who own 10s of thousands of units in key locations all over the country should be treated as a monopoly and broken up.
4
I'm not progressive but we need ONE party that is for the working class.
4
He's always known. He works for Trump after all
3
@nathanaels4195 they DO need to wear them--so they don't kill Grandma. Too bad for her, you would say? seems like good govt to kill all those parasitic elders just taking from the govt! unfortunately, they overwhelmingly vote republican in this state....oops

Electricity

Every country needs to go no contact for a few years..we love you so pls go. We'll see you on the other side ❤
3
Don't hate your allies. Doesn't matter why y they come around, only that they are helping
3
I live in Florida and never been hit by hurricane winds or flooding. I changed my windows for double pane hurricane windows, but still can't get insurance. "You live in Florida" they told me
3
Kyle, you forgot a key point: boomers (elderly) are the biggest "consumer" of healthcare and we know that politicians listen to donors age their older, reliable voters. Getting the boomers mad about insurance might be the best powder keg to light.

The NY murder case is first

You're right. He debased the dollar abs Wall Street celebrated. Even though economists and historians know this is always happens in the end. @braddavid902
2
He was in prison for a year with his brother
2
Elizabeth Warren,too,for the economic/financial expertise
2
Same can be said for all knowledge workers
2
@DAcheekO like chess, the moves are easy to learn, but the craft is hard. Also, many CS (and science degrees) have to be extra rigorous to keep up a reputation. Same for law, same for medicine: make it challenging to complete to keep the status. It didn't have to be difficult, but it pays the schools to make it so
2
@dustinsindledecker154 well, thanks to the willfully selfish, now we have a new strain that is more virulent and can infect the vaccinated! yey. had 3 kids test positive in my kid's school after the 1st day.... Edit: but this year there's no online option.
2
He's been a US citizen fur 20 years, so no. Maybe we can get him for mail fraud or for missing child support or something
2
i think there's a hazing ritual, too. probably some pictures or video that the asset doesn't want made public. it's all very NYC mafioso.
2
Seems like every country but the US has basic immigration controls. It's easy to come to the US but you have to be healthy and high-value to immigrate outside. So "just move" is not feasible for many ppl who don't agree. Is that clear now?
1
I'm so tired of the current Congress and regime being afflicted by old man medical issues. We have minimum ages, and we need maximum ages now.
1
Stop taking trump seriously. You have have to go gray with narcs
1
Israel doesn't celebrate Christmas
1
This is the best way to say it. No "but"
1
@vincesmith2499 i agree that we shouldn't have a middle man that has inflated costs like 20x. Medicine should be between the provider age the patient. Paying for surgery would be negotiable, and a practice would love to have a guarranteed payment every month bc their patient got good service. Look at how vet costs skyrocketted after pet insurance happened
1
@teejae2065 he's enjoying snow days. Musk and Trump are having fun
1
@Christian Toth i don't think governors are in the same convo as vax passports, but I could be wrong. we require documentation for a lot of things, esp. for travel. I mean, you have to declare that you need glasses in order to drive so where is the difference?
1
@Ilijeo-ilijei the anti-vax people protesting schools are apparently ok with the other 8-10? vaccines kids must have to enter the public school system.
1
4:10 i see your Jon Stewart impression 😊
1
They don't feel shame
1
Musk has been a US citizen for 20 years. Thankfully, he can't buy the presidency, but it looks like he doesn't need to
1
I have a few MAGA mexican friends. Was dogpiled when i asked, why? He's coming for you next. He hates brown ppl
1
@JaneDoe-b5v to help with this, there is more than one person who administers the cocktails. But i have to think that executioners feel guilt over time unless they are just sociopathic
1
4:12 Correction: He did not lie about being the most transparently corrupt administration and that he did not care about us, he just wanted votes. I've got him down for 2 promises made and kept
1
7:58 Good thing he's a spokesperson and not a businessman because outsourcing effort, specifically demanding free labor, is EXACTLY how those companies became the richest on earth.
1
@lynnmcnamara2342 i bet she'd be a great fit for AOC or Jacqueline crocket's press team
1
Same ppl who blow money on scratch off tickets every pay day
1
@jacobrye3949 because that's when ppl can see them. News will cover them. But i bet if you organized a weekend protest, even more ppl would show up
1
@jordandriscoll8267 the really rich don't have jobs, they have investments. The tax table should be reversed with 30% on capital gains, esp. Large winnings, and income should be 15% at most until you make $5M like celebrities
1
@jordandriscoll8267 Trump and Musk work very hard to convince ppl that the snake oil they sell is gold and that you should invest early before it gets popular. And then they slip away to a new project with our money, leaving us with smoke and mirrors. All they do is rug pulls, just ask Trump's lawyers that haven't been paid or the Hyperloop investors.
1
Why would they keep taking it is they cut it? No one will support that and thats not how the IRS works, usually
1
@GoAdventure83 5 secs of googling vehicle sales in the last couple of years: Tesla 1.2m cars Ford 1.0m cars and trucks Honda. 21 million
1
Shapiro said it was in Hollywood, Florida, right there between Miami and Ft Lauderdale, so maybe Bill Burr wasn't talking to his working-class audience.
1
@DarkElfDiva this is the origin of the cops who unironically have the strongest unions. But it makes sense how the act, right
1
Let israel deal with it. Stop sending them weapons
1
Sounds like the robot is finally feeling himself.
1
@stevereno Kyle def speeds up the playback
1
And thanks to lockdowns, all the computers have tracking apps that literally watch you
1
@muzhykarim because the US is trying to protect the water ways. But idk why we are the world police AND the arms dealer.
1
@Moh25131 [citation needed] Elon Musk: CEO of Tesla and SpaceX, the world's richest person with $442 billion. Jeff Bezos: Founder of Amazon, holding $248 billion in wealth. Mark Zuckerberg: CEO of Meta (Facebook), with a fortune of $223 billion. Larry Ellison: Co-founder of Oracle, worth $195 billion.
1
@SwiftySanders everyone works hard. While other countries can provide the same work at a cheaper price,Americans will be priced out. US salaries are frozen in 1992, while the cost of everything went up 2-3x. Of course US workers are demanding bc the CEOs are making 10,000x and laying us off so they look good to the venture firm. We are grist in the mill so easily wiped away
1
The trick is to pay cash, and to be send a child to medical school. They also have lawyers or have them over for dinner. You don't need insurance or even a lot of money when you're connected. As always, it's who you know.
1
Doubtful. Trump loves sleeping with other men's wives. And we know Maxwell slept with other women with Epstein, so why not men? why not his best friend? I'm sure they slept with many of the women and girls that they knew.
1
He has a very casual "podcast" (more of a morning rant) on Mondays.
1
Forcing return to office is a tactic that Musk has used for voluntary labor reduction, ie. ppl quit. This is useful to avoid layoff or firing procedures.
1
@wendwllhickey6426 and a lot of the properties sit empty. Maybe taxing empty units at a significant amount of the rent they charge would incentivize them to drop the rent, which would lessen their tax liability and make them more affordable.
1
Doctors aren't the problem, the insurance companies are. If we tale insurance out of health care and you drop 40% of the administration, costs will come down and healthcare will be affordable and accessible to everyone
1
@najgaming5240 surely is High Crimes to direct ppl with no clearances to breach out most secured data
1
as someone who is 3rd gen Zonian, the Panama Canal is not a good deal. just look into it, it's a money pit.

But he does downers.
