  1. It's called cost advatage. India has a cheaper workforce. 85% of ppl don't need geniuses, they need average and a lot of Indians are fine, but 30% cheaper and 1000% desperate to keep the job. The choice is easy if you're a CEO

  3.  @DAcheekO  like chess, the moves are easy to learn, but the craft is hard. Also, many CS (and science degrees) have to be extra rigorous to keep up a reputation. Same for law,same for medicine: make it challenging to complete to keep the status. It didn't have to be difficult, but it pays the schools to make it so

  4.  @SwiftySanders  everyone works hard. While other countries can provide the same work at a cheaper price,Americans will be priced out. US salaries are frozen in 1992, while the cost of everything went up 2-3x. Of course US workers are demanding bc the CEOs are making 10,000x and laying us off so they look good to the venture firm. We are grist in the mill so easily wiped away
