  1. New cars have always been a scam. The fact that many ppl have more than one car already, and there are so many used cars, i think dealerships are finally facing the reality of saturation in most places. The have overproduced my whole life, just like many modern industries. And now that they've laid off 172k in '24 so far, and 250k last year, they are surprised that ppl don't want to buy overpriced luxury goods?? surprised pikachu This is just the first ripple of what is coming as inflation and layoffs/RTO policies come together. You get rid of all the workers, and somehow profits will go....up..??? Rome will fall again and millions will starve, again
