  1. I love that you give the tips for beginners. Of course, if you find that your audience tends to exp. bakers/cooks, I'll understand. But I really don't want to stop making a recipe because I'm covered in powder sugar and then my cat tracked a path to the bed. Also I LOVE where you mention modern conveniences while still explaining the original method. That way, purists can try the original method, but us "just history fans" can try the recipe without losing an extra 4 hours prepping.
