BBC bias as usual. Of the 29 times there has been a vacancy in an election year. 19 when the President was the same party as the senate. Of those 17 were confirmed. 10 times the President was a different party of the senate and then only 2 times were they confirmed. Garland was the norm. The President doesn’t stop being the President because it’s close to an election. Does anyone think the democrats wouldn’t fill this vacancy? Perhaps the BBC should report on Biden’s plan to destroy the Supreme Court by packing it full of left wing judges!

Democrats got rid of that under Harry Reid. Now they want to get rid of that rule all together.

@robinpotter3475 I’ve given you the actual precedent in every instance it has happened. The facts are the facts. Garland was never going to pass. Everyone knew it. If your only objection is the senate didn’t waste their time then I’m going to disagree with that too. I wonder if you were outraged at how Kavanaugh was treated? Garland didn’t get a vote. Kavanaugh was accused of being a serial rapist in front of his children. Selective outrage.

@robinpotter3475 Trump passed the first step act giving thousands a second chance. Biden put them in jail Trump released them. Facts you will never see on the BBC

@robinpotter3475 the ACA isn’t under threat from SCOTUS the legality of the mandate is. Not the law. Two conservatives have already indicated that they won’t rule on that. The ACA is awful but it’s not relevant except for democrat talking points.
