  1. Lewi Lewis we disagree. However can we agree that these important details are not being reported? They will come out at the trial as will the rest of the camera footage. We are not seeing the whole picture. What percentage of the people protesting know these things?

He had severe heart disease. The official post mortem stated he died of a heart attack. People need the facts not half of them.

  7. Lewi Lewis keep your head in the sand, as I say it will all comes out in the trial. The media hiding it now is doing nobody any favors. If they overcharge the officers or don’t get the conviction they have been sold it will lead to more anger and division.

  9. Charon Tum there are more details to be uncovered. There’s got to be more video. The DA is under pressure to overcharge. The state’s Attorney General is disgraceful congressman Keith Ellison who supports Antifa! The politics of this case has already polluted any jury pool and political pressure to overcharge may ruin the prosecution. I suspect the outcome will disappoint many and reinforce the protesters beliefs about the justice system. Let me be clear I don’t believe there’s an epidemic of racism. I think there are millions of boring police interactions every day. Everyone has a cell phone and these isolated cases should not smear all cops.

  10. andrew cobb the “Ferguson effect” is where police retreat from policing black neighborhoods because of high profile cases. Thousands of lives will be lost because the police will simply stop policing. Not one or two. Thousands. Stop and search in black US neighborhoods is much maligned but it saves so many lives. Giving up the streets is the last thing black communities need. This is the side effect of calling cops racist. The left controls Chicago and it’s police. How’s that working out for the murder rate. A bloodbath every weekend as the police have retreated.

  11. Charon Tum I agree. I would also point out that people’s prejudice in this case is clear. The cop that killed him was white. Why assume racial motives? White cop black man does not equate to racist motives. This assumption is prejudice. Gather all the facts including the rest of the video we haven’t seen and charge appropriately.
