  1. It’s a great destroyer. But there’s only 6 of them. Not nearly enough. One may be able to track a thousand targets at once but so what? Air defense ships can be easily overwhelmed by missile salvos.

  2. The load outs for the cells do vary by mission. It’s always a compromise. The type 45 is supposed to be getting 24 sea ceptors fitting in a couple of years. The Arleigh Burke class has 96 VLS cells in comparison to the 45s 48 cells. Same size of ship roughly.
