  3. Good points. The condition of Britain’s NHS is why I don’t want universal government healthcare or single-payer healthcare here in America. Our hybrid system has problems, but we don’t seem to have the long waiting lists and the lack of responsiveness that exists in the UK. Worrisomely, the younger generations of Americans, their inclination toward socialism instilled at the public schools and by a progressive media and entertainment culture, will likely push for universal single-payer healthcare within the next decade.
