  1. Tribal allegiance explains many liberals’ refusal to question Democratic Party edicts (my withdrawal for the Democratic Party began in 2015). Also, the Democratic Party instills in its membership feelings of moral superiority to all others, and it’s hard for any Democrat to accept that Democratic Party policies have become immoral, and that it is prideful and arrogant to go around feeling morally superior to others.

  4. @ The planets aren’t globes spinning on axes. Moreover, there’s no curvature to the earth, easily demonstrable with any backyard telescope. Have you ever actually examined the evidence for flat earth with a neutral mind?

  6. @ That is false. Even if the earth is spherical, boats do not disappear because they go over any horizon formed by the earth’s curvature. In reality, they disappear because they reach the vanishing point as determined by the laws of perspective. Boats that globe proponents believe have “disappeared over the curve” can actually be brought back into view with strong lenses, meaning they never went over any curve. Bill Nye the Science Guy is not a reliable source.
