  1. Good observation. Do you think teaching young people differently, in high school and earlier, by emphasizing the importance family in most people’s happiness, would make a difference? The propaganda against family has been strong in American and Western culture for a long time. The abandonment of Christianity has contributed to the situation we have.

This world can be harsh, and the anti-family propaganda we receive from academia and entertainment doesn’t help, and seduces people to make decisions that don’t lead to their long-term happiness.

  8. I’m a Gen Xer, 52-year-old man, and fell for a lot of the social engineering, anti-family, career is everything BS. Hurts to live with how wrong I was. That said, I’ve struggled a lot with OCD/anxiety in adulthood, which interfered with my life course.

  12. @@InsideandOut7799As a single, childless 52 year old man, I’m a living example of that, to my sorrow. I was too impressionable to social propaganda and the misguided idea that to be a worthwhile person I needed to be a superstar high-achiever (part of that mindset may have resulted from the verbal abuse I received growing up from my father).

  17. People get brainwashed, and others coast along not realizing how rapidly time is passing. Those who don’t get caught up in the propaganda the MSM, entertainment, government, and academia push out are blessed. Easier to resist the anti-natal social engineering when you have Christian values, or when you’ve grown up in a happy, traditional home.
