The 15-year business plan is probably on actuary tables based on life expectancy living on rich foods and moderate exercise and then reselling the cabin after a natural death to other retirees.

After 15 years if the ship’s upkeep cost cuts into the company’s profit, they can sell the ship for metal scrap without any penalties to the cabin owners. The CEO was honest when he said don’t expect this to be an investment, it’s like a reverse mortgage where you lose your house at the end of the plan.
