The anti-tank missiles the western countries are providing to Ukraine seems to be taking their toll, the Russian tank and Infantry Fighting Vehicle (IFV) in the video had added hastily built top armored protection. Unfortunately, the IFV could only add what looks like sand bags on top of their IFV.

@Besus Ukraine mainly has the old Soviet T-62 tanks and haven't gone tank to tank battle with the Russians. The Russians appear to not have urban warfare training and will not leave their armored vesicles for fear of being ambushed in the open. They mainly attack with long distance weapons like artillery, missiles, rockets, and tank fire. The friend or foe is on the FIM-92 stinger missile and will not work, since both sides use non-NATO aircraft. The anti-tank missile doesn't broadcast a challenge signal for "friend or foe".

@BobuxGuy I guess the homemade design isn't working well, there are a lot of destroyed Russian tanks with the crushed "Cope Cage" seemingly offering no protection at all against the top penetrating western anti-tank missile.
