The Ukrainians smuggled multiple drones hidden in cargo containers, bribing the Russian border guards not to inspect closely to cross the border to attack deep into Russia. The cargo container self-destructing must have been trucks that were late going to the predesignating launch point. The video in the attack showed that the drones were controlled by an operator and was crystal clear and showed no video distortion you would see with Russian jamming. It’s rumored that the Ukrainians had setup their communication network near the Russian FSB, the equivalent of the US’s CIA or UK’s MI6, so no one would question the signals. Russia uses most of their drones and missiles with preset coordinates to attack civilian cities and not military targets.
