  1. Even with type matching and anti-rejection medication, the body can still reject the donor heart. The heart transplant network won’t change their protocols when there are so many patients on the waiting list willing to get vaccinated to get a chance of getting a donor heart. The chance of getting a human heart transplant without getting vaccinated is unrealistic when others on the waiting list are vaccinated and are willing to take the risk.
