  1. Hitler tried to capture Stalingrad in WW2 just because of his pride; it had no military value, and sending countless German soldiers to their death. Putin is doing the same for the Mariupol steel plant, in a surrounded and isolated city without any military value, just for his military May 9 victory parade against the Nazis; how ironic.
