  1. The primary use of gas in Bulgaria and Poland is home heating, the weather is getting warmer and spring is in the air. Bulgaria and Poland has the support of the entire EU, while Russia only has China as a major economic trading partner. Russia is a “One Trick Pony” whose only asset is selling gas and no major industrial export to sell to other countries because of the economic sanctions. Putin’s only source of revenue is selling gas to the Western countries. Putin is so far behind the curve, both militarily and economically. China has been very pragmatic with their relationship with Russia and are not “Joined at the Hip” with Russia. It was 14 Oct 2003 that they had a border agreement when Russia was forced to turn over the disputed Islands to China. China also didn’t vote against kicking Russia off the Human Rights Council of the UN, they absented which counted as a yes vote to kick them off. China is walking a tight rope balancing their very lucrative trade with the West and supporting Russia small trade market.
