  3. Canada has abundance of hydroelectric power that Trump put a tariff on for the electricity going to the US. So, the border states near Canada must paid a tariff for their electricity. For Canada hydroelectric power, they won’t lose anything, they just shut off one of the water turbines if the electrical demand goes down, it only hurts the US citizens.
