  1. The proper training for the use of the Taser is that it is carried on the opposite side of the officer’s lethal service weapon. The Taser is deployed using the officer’s non-shooting hand since aiming accuracy isn’t a factor because it is a close in non-lethal weapon. Periodic training and muscle memory is used for high stress situation to prevent accidents. This was poor training on part of the police department. This is negligence on the police.
