  1. If you are a poor immigrant, you wouldn’t steal dogs and cats to eat. How would you cook the dogs and cats, the cooking odor from the apartment will cause complaints to the landlord. You would probably do dumpster diving for editable food thrown away by restaurants and grocery markets.
