They were so rich that they would send their laundry to Portugal to be washed; the millionaires never thought the happy days would end. The rubber plantations money days lasted until synthetic rubber was invented and the plantations reverted back to the jungle and the people moved away. Qatar should enjoy the oil money while it last.
