  1. The states and schools should petition the FCC and federal legislature to allow limited area cell phone jammers in the classrooms. The low area jammers only cover a small area and can be turned on when class starts and turned off manually or based on pre-programmed class schedules for individual classrooms and hallways. Areas outside the jamming area in the school will still allow students to use their cell phones.

  4.  @07Flash11MRC  Most of the disruption is kids communicating with their friends in class with each other. Individual kids playing games on their cell phones will have it taken away by the teacher and can only get it back at the end of school, while the other kids will have it when they leave the class.
