  1. In Georgia RICO conviction there is a mandatory 5 year sentence with a maximum sentence of 20 years. And the Governor of Georgia has no pardon powers and federal pardons doesn't apply to the state level.

The prosecutors would be the Georgia prosecutors in the federal courtroom prosecuting, the charges would still be based on Georgia law, sentences would still be mandatory 5 years with a maximum 20 years, and no governor’s authority to pardon or federal pardon. The only advantage would be the federal judge who is appointed and not elected by the local people and the jury pool would include jurors from outside the local county. Moving the case to federal court doesn’t really help them much.

  3. Moving the trial to federal court for Mark Meadows and Trump will not work because the illegal political actives were not part of their official duties. Trump tried to get the “Hush Money” payment trial moved from NY state court to federal. The Hush Money payment was not part of his official duties as President and the federal judge rejected the move to federal court from state court.
