  1. The US Constitution’s 8th Amendment states “Excessive bail shall not be required, nor excessive fines imposed, nor cruel and unusual punishments inflicted…” The guy’s picture is all over the Internet and people with smart phones make it almost impossible for him to skip bail before his trial.

  3.  @brianholloway6205  The main story line was about getting out of jail on bail. The ankle monitor was just a minor foot note in the story line as a condition of his monetary bail.

  4.  @brianholloway6205  Most people charged with violent crimes are released on bail with the ankle monitor and must turn over their passport as a condition of their monetary bail.

  5.  @brianholloway6205  In the US you are innocence until proven guilty and afforded bail and not incarcerated in jail without bail unless there is a valid reason until the trial. What was your point?
