For Trump and the GOP MAGA, it’s all in the numbers of constituents. The number of pediatric cancer patient families are few compared to the number of billionaire donors, right-wing ultra-conservative church groups, farmers, and other conservative groups that would benefit from the funding.

@1969chgoodwin The House and Senate create their own budget resolutions, which must be negotiated and merged. Both houses must pass a single version of each funding bill. Congress sends the approved funding bills to the president to sign or veto. I guess you were sick that day in high school!

@1969chgoodwin I guess you didn’t watch the news, as soon as the GOP House passed their bill, the Dems in the Senate approved the bill that night!

@1969chgoodwin The budget bill must be sent between the houses and must be negotiated and merged. The bipartisan committee approved, and it was waiting for a final vote and sent back to the House until Elon said NO and made Trump kill it. You really don’t understand politics. Even Fox News didn’t blame the Senate!

@1969chgoodwin That wasn't the final bill. The House changed it to pass at the last hours, it wasn't the same in March. I guess you can't be bothered to read the final House bill!

@1969chgoodwin Since the time the House bill was submitted, it went into committee to merge the two bills, the Senate and house bill, and sent back to the House to negotiate the final bill. The individual members of the House and Senate don’t read the entire bill word for word, the staff on the committees and the staff of the House and Senate members read it to submit the relevant parts of the bill in their party meetings and vote on the party’s recommendation. You really don’t understand how the government works!
