The Public Relations (PR) Company for Space X learned their lesson from Virgin Galactic PR debacle on their celebratory Champagne party after their virgin flight of billionaires. The Virgin Galactic Champagne party looked like a billionaires club showing off their wealth to the poor peons. Space X PR Company should get a bonus for the charity angle and using regular people on their first flight. It’s like giving free tickets to regular people to attend an exclusive private country club for a $10,000 a plate charity event where only $1,000 is given to charity.

@showgo254 Highly qualified people with years of academic, engineering, or medical backgrounds spent years of their life trying to get a seat on a NASA flight or years trying to having their experiment included on a mission. After all of the public good will, it will be a paid joyride for the very rich. This is the ultimate “Disney Land” ride for the billionaire crowd.

@showgo254 NASA astronauts have gotten rides on Russians rockets to the International Space Station (ISS); a joint venture with other countries. After the US stopped sending the space shuttle into space, it was decided to involve the private sector. NASA and the US administration wanted to reduce the high cost of space exploration. I’m all for getting the cost of space exploration down. If it takes giving joyrides for billionaires, more power to them. But this is money making venture, not a humanitarian non-profit venture. I’m not complaining. I’m just stating the obvious difference between the two space companies first space launch, Virgin Galactic and Space X Public Relations effort to drum-up more business.
