  1. The hole in the plexiglass appears to be at the location where the most stress will occur; you can see the water shooting directly at the spot. The constant water force and the weight of people overtime caused a stress crack. The weight of the man wouldn’t have mattered much; he was the final straw that broke the camel’s back.
