Sounds like a “Win Win” situation. The school buses are used twice a day at known times, driven a known amount of mileage, driven a known amount of days in the week, don’t go very fast, carry light loads of children, with electric it will reduce children to harmful diesel exhaust pollution and make it quieter on the bus to monitor what’s happening on the bus; everyone wins.

@uAKING2006 What school bus district runs 8-12 hrs non-stop when the typical school days aren't that long in a school district or cover a large area, they are school bus stop for children to gather at. Some US cities have electric city buses for commuter services.

@Pa_school_bus_enthusiast The buses must be used by private companies for uses other than for children to operate 8-10 hrs going and returning after school. City municipal buses for public transportation have converted to electric to reduce pollution in the city.
