  1. What a bunch of “Karens”! It was an emergency, and they landed at a military airfield in the Azores controlled by Portugal. Delta doesn’t have any airline facilities there. The pilots and crew only had their own phones to talk with Delta to get any information. They flew out from Spain; its luck the Portuguese didn’t make them stay at the military airbase sleeping on cots instead of letting them into the country and stay at a hotel.
