The big difference between the tariff war is that raw materials and finished materials from China are incorporated into manufactured products in the US providing high paying US manufacturing jobs, while US beef, chicken, wheat, and soybean sold to China is used in restaurants and groceries providing low wage cooking and serving jobs in China.

  2. Canada has abundance of hydroelectric power that Trump put a tariff on for the electricity going to the US. So, the border states near Canada must paid a tariff for their electricity. For Canada hydroelectric power, they won’t lose anything, they just shut off one of the water turbines if the electrical demand goes down, it only hurts the US citizens.

  3.  @nischalrana1666  Trump doesn’t understand that the tariffs are paid by the importer and passed on to the customers to make importing goods cost more to protect the local companies to keep prices higher on the imported goods.
