  3. @@stevenstrain283 The Javelin first stage is a smokeless that doesn't give away the position and have been used more in open areas. It is light weight and portable. The rocket motor kicks in when its high in the air does a top of tank hit, the weakest point. The Ukrainian ATGM is a direct hit.

  4. @@stevenstrain283 The Javelin is a "Fire & Forget" weapon, self-guiding weapon without operator control. The tripod anti-tank weapons requires operator input till the hit.

  6. @@stevenstrain283 Javelin gunners are trained not to aim directly at the tank directly but aim in front and not hit the tank sensors. The top tank penetration avoids the side sensors.
