  1. Putin, like any dictator who holds power by ruthless measures to subjugate their people, the fear of the “Sword of Damocles” is always present; the fear of a coup d'etat and death. Dictators always fear the imminent and ever present of any of their subordinates turning on them if they show weakness or vulnerability and refusing to carryout their order.
