In combat you try not to lose control by getting angry. The Russian soldier got angry at the Ukrainian sniper and stood fully silhouetted getting ready to fire an RPG at night with only the crude iron sight against a sniper with a night scope. He barely fired the RPG before getting hit.

@tekkhero9767 He should have known that there was a sniper using a night scope; it’s called battlefield situational awareness. The RPG is mainly a day weapon because of the rocket blast flash. After he fired, he would have been blinded by the flash, blast sound, and standing disorientated in the room; a sitting duck for the sniper.

@tekkhero9767 Thermal uses heat changes, night vision amplifies local light sources electronically. During the day the heat is almost constant over exposed surfaces. At night the cooling rate increases.

@power2084 The night scope black and white video. You would know if it was in daylight he was using a night scope which would be too bright.
