The Ukrainians load the rockets under cover, rushes to the launch site, uses GPS, iPad and mobile phone for final site calibration, fires and then leaves; typical “Shoot and Scoot”. The Russians load the rockets in the open near the launch site, uses a Soviet era surveying theodite on a tripod to see where they are based on sighting land features, fires and stays in the open exposing themselves to drone attack and counter-battery artillery fire.
