@Mikhail_Utkin For artillery the margin for error on a fixed position on the ground and adjusted for movement caused by the firing after a round is fired is greatly less then firing barrage of unguided rockets into the air from a moving helicopter.

@Mikhail_Utkin The Ukrainian battlefield is fluid with soldiers and civilian area intermixed. In the West, they try to avoid collateral damage to the civilian population by using precision weapons and special forces ground troops; it’s apparent based on the civilian damaged areas and civilian killed the Russian military do not care about killing civilians. The Russian military is using their weapons as a political terror tactic by indiscriminately targeting non-military civilian residential areas.
