Since Ukraine has gotten precision artillery like the M-777 and the HIMARS the Russians have been using smaller ammunition depots near the front lines and placing their larger ammunition distribution depots outside the Ukrainian artillery range that supplies these front line ammunition depots. By the size of the ammunition depot explosion in the Russian controlled Kherson Oblast, it was a Storm Shadow attack.
