  1. The Russians mainly relies on railroads to move their military supplies and stockpile it in huge military depots near the railhead. After the Ukrainians started getting HIMARS and Storm Shadow cruise missiles allowing them to hit the Russian military depots deep behind the frontlines, they started to disperse the depots into smaller depots further away from the frontlines. This required more trucks to be used more often moving supplies having to travel further to the frontlines. With their already limited amount of Russian trucks, they became a prime target.
