To be driven off their firing position or abandoning their tanks when under a drone grenade attack plainly shows Russia‘s weakness. This shows how poorly trained the tank crews are and how poorly designed the Russian tanks are. A UK Challenger 2 MBT in the Iraqi war was hit multiple times and the crew stayed with their tank and kept fighting while being overwhelm by the enemy; the tank was recovered and repaired. "It was hit by 14 RPG-7s from close range and a MILAN anti-tank guided missile. The crew survived, safe within the tank until it was recovered for repairs, the worst damage being to the sighting system. It was back in operation six hours later…” Wikapedia.

@markuslohse1453 The one oblivious reason why a Russian tank crew would leave open a hatch in winter is ventilation. The cramped and tight space with three crew members greatly reduces the air volume in the tank without having an adequate air handling unit to change out the air with fresh air.
