The old western tanks wouldn’t be used as a “Main Battle Tank” (MBT) spearheading the lead in an assault, but used to provide extra firepower and armor for an Infantry Fighting Vehicle (IFV) unit covering the MBTs vulnerable flanks against anti-tank infantry or sweeping through urban areas with its heavy cannon in support of the IFVs.

  2.  @springbloom5940  The Ukrainians are using the US M-113 APC from the Vietnam war era donated by the US and putting it to good use, you see it on the battle videos moving their troops.
