For the retreating Russian soldiers, the ammunition took up too much space in their stolen vehicles and they couldn’t fit it between the stolen washing machine or vodka bottles so they just left it.

@MPdude237 During WW2 the allies would disable their petrol operated vehicles by simply destroying the distributor cap. Before retreating the Russians blew up the bridge spans so civilians couldn't use the bridge to even walk across.

@MPdude237 The Russian retreat shows the corruption and graft in the Russian military high command and Russian government bureaucracy on supplying material and training. This is exposing the Russian government and military high command incompetence and corruption. Ukraine is right next door and has outdated former Soviet Union military equipment with some limited amount of Western donated weapon systems; far less then they need. Putin’s Russian oligarchs and Generals have been stealing money from the country and providing substandard military equipment and training, while buying multi-million dollar villas and multi-million dollar yachts in Western countries. Putin will just be sending more under trained and under equipped reserve troops as “Cannon Fodder” to try and stay in power.

@Alphoric The US made military equipment were given to the Afghan government that was overthrown, just like South Vietnam. Russia is still at war.
