  1. The Russian Icebreakers might have been an economic boom to Russia if Putin hadn’t invaded Ukrainian. With the West’s economic sanctions, any ship transiting from China to Europe with goods will not be accepted by the EU by transiting Russian waters. Russia can transport all the oil and natural oil it wants to sell to China and India, but not Western registered ships wanting cargo insurance from the West. Russia can still ship by the limited amount of cargo ships insured by non-Western insurance companies to cover the lost of ship and cargo or take the risk.
