  1. It's very doubtful the Russians would have destroyed a Patriot air defense system with hypersonic Kinzhal missile, they would have shown satellite photos of their success. It's another wishful thinking by the Russian military to tell Putin.

  2. There is a limited amount of the Patriot systems so the Ukrainians are protecting a lot of valuable targets; both civilian and military. The military targets are the UK Storm Shadow cruise missile, the US ADM-160 miniature air-launched decoy (MALD) missile depot sites and the airfields where the modified Ukrainian Mig-29s are that can launch them since the Russians can‘t protect themselves against both missiles flying in tandem. The Russians are trying to saturate the Patriot Air Defense system by a swam attack using hypersonic cruise missile to destroy high value targets.
