The Russians are poorly trained for warfare. The trenches are too shallow and there is no step-up to the firing positions to keep someone walking in the trench from being exposed to gunfire. The use of logs will cause splinters under shrapnel and bullets if use as the only barrier; should have sandbags covering logs.

@Foreign Boi Yes, they have abandoned numerous military equipment, ammunition, had well over 20 generals killed, countless field grade officers killed, junior grade officers killed, along with the countless conscripted soldiers killed in their retreat against a weaker, but well trained Ukrainian army.

@Foreign Boi The US equipment had been given to the Afghan civilian government before the Taliban overthrew the government, not during a retreat like the Russians.
