  1. The Russian Buk-M2 mobile medium range Surface-to-Air Missile (SAM) system is a battalion level air defense system for battlefield air defense. It’s a Soviet era design that the Russians say they have been upgrading to defend against the latest NATO weapon systems. Apparently it was just Russian propaganda or another case of military weapons corruption in manufacturing.
