These old USSR ethnic Russian enclaves are where the political disruptions are being generated. Russia can occupy small areas of ethnic Russian speaking enclaves in Ukraine near the boarder on the East and the South. But, not the whole country since the rest of Ukraine speaks Ukrainian and are not ethnic Russians. When the USSR fell, all the former ethnic non-Russian members left Russia and formed their own ethnic country. Looks like Russia wants to reclaim the old USSR lands.

It will be a very small Russian military exercise with only one Russian frigate against one Russian submarine; the Cubans can throw in their small obsolete fleet in the exercise.

At the last second the Kremlin had cold feet and wouldn’t join the rebellion, but would sit it out. Putin tried to crush the Wagner group instantly with ground troops, the Kremlin was slow to react; Putin knew at that moment he had trouble in the Kremlin. It became a stalemate between Vladimir Putin and Yevgeny Prigozhin‘s Wagner group to avoid a bloodshed that neither one would win politically. Prigozhin got to keep his mercenaries intact in Belarus with all charges dropped in Russia and Putin kicked out the Wagner mercenaries and made them Lukashenko’s problem.

  6. The Wagner Private Military Contractors (PMC) have actively recruited from Russian prisons. It is a joke trying to enforce communication "Blackouts" near the HQ, the mercenaries were calling home about how bad it was at the HQ to the Ukrainian intelligence agencies revealing their location.

Putin attacks civilians by destroying their electrical infrastructures to freeze them in winter, destroying their drinking water systems, and blockading food supplies to the rest of the world and calls this a special military operation, in reality its genocide by a Russians dictator Putin against his peaceful Ukraine. The only civilians leaving Kherson are the ethnic Russians.
