  1. The 13th Amendment of the US Constitution ended slavery by saying that all people are humans with human rights and not someone’s property. Laws protecting anyone associated with performing IVF or maintaining the frozen embryos can’t be protected against criminal charges by a state prosecutor since the Alabama Supreme Court ruled embryos are children. Once the Alabama Supreme Court ruled embryos are children, any harm to them is not a civil monetary lawsuit, but a crime with prison time. The Alabama State Constitution needs to be amended to clarify the interpretation or the Alabama Supreme Court will overrule the IVF law if a state prosecutor says it’s against the Alabama State Constitution on the rights of embryos who are children.
