The Colorado State Supreme Court agreed with the state judge on the facts of the case of insurrection but disagreed on the interpretation of the 14th Amendment, overruling the state judge. The interpretation of the Colorado State Supreme Court’s ruling on the 14th Amendment can only be overruled by the US Supreme Court.
